Applied Pay seamlessly integrates with Applied's suite of agency management systems and self service portals to automate payment collection, processing, and reconciliation. By automating workflows across systems for ultimate accounts receivable reconciliation, agents can eliminate the cost and risk of managing paper checks and more quickly collect commission, while providing a simple, secure, and modern insured checkout experience.

What is Applied Pay?
Applied Pay is a cloud-based electronic payments hub that enables agents and brokers to provide their clients a secure, online way to pay for new and recurring premiums. Directly integrated into Applied Epic, CSR24, and EZLynx Client Center, Applied Pay provides intuitive, branded checkout pages where policy holders can go to pay for premiums via text link, credit card, ACH, digital wallet, or other payments methods. It automatically handles payment authorization and tokenizes sensitive information to increase security and ensure compliance.
The solution also integrates into the general ledger to reconcile accounts receivable, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy and timeliness to reconcile payments. Applied Pay will provide agencies a superior solution in comparison to other providers; especially in terms of the level of GL/AR integration. No other provider will be able to provide this full GL/AR integration for any Applied AMS.
What will this look like in EZLynx?
Once this service is live in EZLynx:
- Agents can register for Applied Pay through EZLynx Connect Marketplace
- Insureds will be able to make payments in Client Center using Applied Pay
- Agency Admins will be able to access an Agency Payment Portal through the Applied Pay connection in the Connect Marketplace
- What is the cost & charge model?
- Convenience Fee Model - 3.5% convenience charge for card transactions and a $4 flat fee for ACH transactions (US).
- Convenience fee allows pushing the fees to the insureds/borrowers. If your agency opts to pay the fees for the customer, the product allows for this.
