Some agents want to confirm which carriers are currently sending policy downloads to their EZLynx Management System. Follow the steps below for a quick and easy way to do this.
Click here to see a list of all carriers certified to download to the EZLynx Management System.
To identify carriers downloading to your Management System:
- In EZLynx, locate the Dashboard Home Page.
- EZTip: This is the first page you see when logging into EZLynx and has the moving picture at the top left.
- Locate the Downloads and Claims Downloads boxes.
- EZTip: The numbers shown represent the downloads for the past 7 days.
- Click the links to go to the Policy or Claims Transactions pages.
OR - Hover over the Policy Management icon and select the correct link instead.
On the Policy Transactions page:
- Click the Matched tab, and set the filters.
- Clear anything in the Policy/Applicant search bar here.
- Select All Agencies if your agency is setup with branches.
- At Date Type, select Download Date and enter a Date Range.
- EZTip: Typically the starting date is whatever date your agency purchased EZLynx.
- Set Source to Download and the Policy Type to All.
- Unless you are trying to find a specific line of business, set the LOBs to All.
- To see if a specific carrier is downloading to your agency, you can select their name or leave set to All Carriers.
- Finally, Transaction Types should be set to All Types and the data is ready to review.
If you have All Carriers selected and you want a quick way to see which carriers are downloading, then click the blue Actions button at the top right and select Export to Excel.
- When ready, open the file to make changes to the spreadsheet.
- Highlight the Carrier Name column, and go to the Data tab.
- Click Remove Duplicates, and choose Continue with the current selection and hit Remove Duplicates.
You now have a list of carriers that are downloading to your Management System. If you’re missing any, you can go ahead and contact those carriers to request initial downloads.
