For the June 26, 2020 release, EZLynx has partnered with Calendly to support scheduling appointments, meetings, and events through our Client Center product. Rather than email chains and phone tag, you can send your availability with a Calendly link. Calendly can connect with up to 6 of your calendars automatically to check your availability and help you connect with your customers.

Enabling/Disabling the Calendly Integration


Before you can enable Calendly through Client Center, you must setup your merchant account with Calendly. You can start this process at https://calendly.com/


Once you have a merchant account with Calendly, the next step is to enable the integration in EZLynx. The Calendly integration can be enabled from our Connect Marketplace. To learn how to enable an integration from the Connect Marketplace, see: EZLynx Connect for EZLynx 5


If you are not interested in your agency integrating with Calendly, the Connect Admin can hide the integration. To learn how to hide the integration, see: How to Hide an Integration for Connect


You can setup multiple event types based on your subscription plan with Calendly. If you would like your customers to pick which event is best for them, we recommend copying your Account URL into the Connect Marketplace when enabling Calendly. 



If you would like to support only a single event type for your customers to choose from, then we recommend clicking the Copy Link button and input that URL into the Connect Marketplace when enabling Calendly.



Note! Calendly is a user specific integration. Your customer will only see the Calendly option in Client Center if the Assigned To agent of their account has the Calendly integration enabled.



Scheduling Process


1. Once the integration is enabled, a customer can schedule an event with their Assigned To agent. If you wish to make the appointment on behalf of you customer, you can open Client Center from the Client Center Agent Login icon on the overview page. 




2. Click the Schedule Appointment button.

 



3. If you put your Account URL into the Connect Marketplace, you will land on your scheduling page where you can click on the type of event you would like.




4. If you did not use your Account URL but instead used the Copy Link option for only a single event, you will land on the calendar page where you can click on the dates to see your available time slots.

5. Click on the time that best suits the customer. 

6. Then, click the Confirm button.



Did you know? Calendly will automatically update the time-zone based on the customer's computer settings! However, they can update it manually as well. Once the event is scheduled, it will show up on your calendar in your time-zone so there should me little confusion on when to call. 



7. The customer's name and email will be pre-filled based on their account in EZLynx.

8. Input the best phone number to contact the customer. 

9. Input any notes about the meeting that you would like to remind the customer about. 

10. Once all changes have been made, click the Schedule Event button.


Once the event is scheduled both you and the customer will receive a confirmation email that the event was successfully scheduled. 



Did you know? When you are setting up your events in Calendly, you setup automated email and/or text reminders to be sent to your customer! This way they will remember when their appointment is.
