Zapier allows for connections to thousands of systems so you can share EZLynx data with the other software you use. We are excited to announce an update to the EZLynx Zapier app, available in the Zapier Marketplace! Commercial Applicant Search - Inbound Action 


Our Zapier app now supports Applicant Searches! You can use the Commercial Applicant Search action to update an existing applicant or perform actions such as creating a note for the applicant. The action included the following data fields:

In addition to creating new applicants, you can now update existing applicants with the Zapier app! Use the Search functions described above to identify the correct applicant record, then use the Update Commercial Applicant action to update them. The following fields can be updated:

Notes - Outbound Trigger When Note is Created


You can now use Notes in EZLynx to trigger actions in your third-party applications with the Note Created trigger in Zapier! This trigger will fire when a note is created in EZLynx. The trigger includes the following data fields: 


  • Applicant ID
  • First Name/Last Name (for Personal Applicants)
  • Business Name (for Commercial Applicants)
  • Discussion ID
  • Discussion Title
  • Note ID
  • Note Description
  • Tasks 
    • Task Status
    • Task Assignee
    • Task Due Date

    • Policy Number
    • Policy Effective Date

The note itself is not included in the outbound data. This restriction is due to security concerns, because EZLynx cannot control what data is included in the Note and where the Note is sent. You can use the Discussion Title and Labels to control workflows.

You can now create a note in EZLynx with the Create Note action! The note can include the following data fields:
