Client Center - Agency Branding Enhancements

EZLynx is thrilled to unveil an impactful new feature for Client Center designed to take your branding to the next level! This innovative feature allows you to personalize the Client Center login page and home page enhancing the portal with your unique brand customization.
A strong, cohesive brand identity sets your agency apart in a crowded marketplace. As your clients are already familiar with your brand, associating their experience with the self-service portal further ingrains your brand's visibility and recall.
In essence, while we provide the backbone with our meticulously crafted Client Center, you have the creative freedom to infuse it with your distinctive branding. The message is clear: We build the Client Center, but it's you who brings it to life with your brand!
In this article we will cover the settings a Client Center Admin can use to setup the branding for the Client Center Login and Home pages. If you are looking for help on how to use Client Center, check out our Client Center - Accessing Client Center training article!

Why this is important to you?
With the ability to personalize the Client Center, your agency can create a unique and distinctive identity. This includes the use of your own branding colors and personalized messages, reflecting your agency's character.
- Enhanced Brand Recognition - Consistent use of your primary and secondary colors throughout your self-service portal can foster increased brand recognition and memorability among your insureds/customers. This can boost consumer loyalty and facilitate referrals to your agency. All these elements should align with your agency's persona and project the desired perception to your customers.

Client Center Branding Tab
Let's figure out how to access the Client Center branding tab and take a tour on everything you can find there!
Accessing the Client Center Branding Tab
First hover over the Settings icon. Then, click Client Center. Finally, click on the Branding tab. Here you will have various options to customize Client Center for your customers. Currently, these personalization settings only apply to the login and home page of Client Center but plans to expand the branding to all pages in Client Center are underway so be on the lookout for future releases!
Brand Section
You will see the Brand section at the top of the page. This is where you will be able to choose colors from the available options. The Primary Color that you choose is used for the entire Client Center theme whereas Secondary Color is used for buttons and actions in Client Center. To change the color, click on the box. From here you can click and drag the color circle, use the eye dropper, or input the hex code to find the colors to match your agency branding.
Upload Agency Logo
Next, you will see the Upload Agency Logo section. This is where you can upload your agency's logo.
- If you do not already have a logo uploaded, you can click on the Upload button to upload an image from your computer.
- If you do already have a logo uploaded, that logo will already be present here.
To change your logo at any time, click the Replace button.
You'll also notice when you click the Upload or Replace button, that a View Example button appears. You'll see this View Example button through-out this Branding tab. If you click on it, it will display an example of where in the Client Center the respective branding customization can be found.
Login Page Customization
After the Upload Logo section, you will be able to see Login Page Customization section. This section will allow you to customize the login page of Client Center for your customers. You will also see another View Example button which can help you determine where in the Client Center these changes will appear.
First, you can type any description of your choice into the Description box. For example, "Manage your insurance account anytime, anywhere." to help promote to your customer's that the self-service portal is accessible 24/7 from their phone, tablet, or computer. Simply type something important you want your customers to know about your agency.
Next, you can adjust the Feature List. We currently have 6 options for the Feature List. You can reorder the list so that the top 4 display what you feel are most relevant or most commonly used functionalities for your agency. Only the top four will be visible to your customers on the Client Center portal so pick the 4 that mean the most to you.
The current options are:
- Get ID Cards
- Request for Change
- Make Payments
- Get Certificates
- View Claims
- Upload Documents/Images
To rearrange the order, click on the two lines next to the respective option, and then drag the option to the place you would like it to be.
Promotional Banner
Finally, let's talk about the Promotional Banner section. Again, if you aren't sure where this customization will appear in Client Center check out the example by clicking the View Example button.
This section will allow you to enter useful information on the Home Page of Client Center. It could be a special deal or discount, regulatory changes, upcoming holiday, or anything to help your customers stay up-to-date in the insurance industry.
In the Heading field, type a summary of what you would like to convey. Next, input more details into the Description or Message field.
If needed, you can also input a URL link into the Button Link/URL field. Make sure to give the button a short and sweet name in the Button Label field. These fields allow you to save a URL link that will appear on your customer's Client Center page that redirects them to a location of your choosing.

Saving Your Work
Once you finally have the Client Center Branding Settings the way you want them, make sure to click the Publish button at the bottom of the page under the Promotional Banner section. Once you do, the customizations you have made will be public and available to your customers.
What the Customer Sees
Now that you've set everything up, let's take a look at what your customer will see and the differences between the old Client Center pages and the newly customized ones.
Login Page
Your customers (policyholders) will be able to login to Client Center and see the welcome area on landing page so that they have knowledge of some key features of using Client Center. These are the same 4 features that you have preferred in the Login Page Customization > Feature List setting. They should be able to login via traditional method or via Google Login.
Home Page
Now let's look at the Home Page before and after!
Your customers will be able to see the Welcome Section in the Client Center. This will have their name and welcome message to give the portal a personal feel. In the Header Section, your customers will be able to view the different self-service options available to them. Clicking on one will take them to that respective page and workflow. If you have setup the Promotional Banner section of the Client Center Settings, your customers will also be able to see the Promo Section in the Client Center.
Further down on the page, your customers will be able to see the Features Section which displays the different features available to them. These are similar to the options in the Header Section. Your customers will also see the Connect Section where Connect Marketplace products are enabled (like Home Security System, Calendar, etc.) To learn more about the Connect Marketplace check out our EZLynx Connect - How to Enable, Disable, & Hide Integrations article!
Down below the Connect section, they will see the Take Advantage card, which when they click it will take them to the Products page within Client Center. The Products page has a list of all the Connect products your agency has enabled.
Your customer will also be able to see the Contact Section which displays the agency contact information, so that they may contact the agency in case they need any assistance. This information is also in the Footer Section. This will help them in contacting you for any queries.
Practical Applications
For this first release, we wanted to share 4 ways your agency can make the most out of this new feature:
- Harmonized Branding Colors - Align the look and feel of the Client Center with your agency's brand by employing primary and secondary colors that match your website's color scheme. This seamless visual integration allows the Client Center's login and home page to closely echo your agency's brand aesthetics, offering a familiar experience for your customers.
- Prominent Promotional Messaging - Utilize the home page of the Client Center to broadcast messages visible to all your customers. Whether it's a note about upcoming holidays, a reminder, or an invitation to view a new video, this feature eradicates the need to individually notify each customer, saving you time and ensuring consistent communication.
- Login Page Customization - Optimize the customer's first touch-point - the Login Page. Highlight up to four key features that you wish to draw your customer's attention to, personalizing their entry point into the Client Center.
- Showcase Your Unique Value Propositions - Leverage this branding feature to clearly articulate your agency's unique value propositions. This could be a specific service you excel at, a compelling success statistic, or a succinct summary of your agency's mission or core values. Complement this with a carefully chosen video link that resonates with your brand message, providing an engaging visual introduction or demonstration of what makes your agency stand out.
