With 2024 Q1 release, we are excited to announce an enhancement to the Commission Statement Approval workflow for Accounting Users! 

 

The system now displays statement statuses and lets you leave or stay on the statement while it processes. Using browser popups and notifications in workspace, the system will inform you of statement status changes. When multiple users access the same statement, they will all receive the same popup regarding the status. These enhancements aim to streamline the commission process.

How it works

To improve performance on Commission Statement processing and give you flexibility, we have added the ability for you to either remain on the Commission Statement page or navigate away while the statement is processing. There is a new notification to know exactly what the statements status is. This will enable you to navigate between different EZLynx pages simultaneously while the Commission Statement is in the approval process. 

 

 

The messaging for processing Commission Statements is updated when 'Approve All' is selected or unselected. During the processing of the statement, an option will appear for the user to navigate away or remain on the statement page. The message will be removed once the statement has been processed. All notifications will be sent to the user who initiated the commission statement. The Commission Statement page will show the status of a processing statement. 

 

 

During this period, the statement will be disabled, and no further updates can be made until the process is complete. You do not need to stay on the Commission Statement page while the statement is being processed, you have the ability to navigate through other areas of EZLynx. We’ll keep you updated with the status using the following new features:   

 

  • A Browser Notification will let you know that the statement process is complete, and you can interact with the statement again. If there is an ‘Error’ in the process the notification will include that information. Return to the statement and attempt to approve or reverse the approval again or email accountingsupport@ezlynx.com.  

 

  • The Agency Workspace Notification includes the status, carrier, commission statement number, commission statement amounts and a direct link to the Commission statement.  

 

Why is this important?


This enhancement allows you to continue being productive while waiting for a Commission Statement to process. You can navigate anywhere in the system instead of waiting for the statement to be approved or waiting for approval to be reversed. You can now approve Commission Statements and then create receipts for them later. If you have multiple employees processing statements at once, only one person can make changes to a statement at a time. As a result, those employees will not have to do double work saving you time and effort.
