Citizens LCR Quoting Workflow

In this release, we have updated how the personal lines rater behaves when a Citizens Licensed Customer Representative user (LCR) in Florida, submits a Home and Dwelling Fire quote application to Citizens. As a Citizens LCR user, you will now be required to choose an Agent of Record when creating or submitting a Home or Dwelling Fire quote application for Citizens.

Agent of Record field (Rating page)
If you are a Citizens LCR user in Florida submitting a Home or Dwelling Fire quote to Citizens with your other appointed carriers, you will be required to choose the Agent of Record field on the Rating page when Citizens is selected on the carrier selection panel for the following policy types:
- HO3
- HO6
- Dwelling Fire
You will not be required to choose the Agent of Record field when Citizens is deselected on the carrier selection panel. The carrier selection will change based on the chosen Agent of Record.
You will need to fix validation errors on the Finish page of the rating workflow if the Agent of Record is not chosen on the Rating page. This also applies to any existing quote that was created by another user where the Agent of Record was not specified.

Agent of Record choices not available (Rating page)
The Agent of Record selections available on the Citizens Agent of Record dropdown in EZLynx correspond to your branch location agents, as appointed by your agency principal through Citizens myAgency system.
In the rare instance that no agents are appointed to Citizens at your branch location, you will see an alert message requiring you or your agency principal to contact clearinghouse.help@citizensfla.com to resolve the issue.
You will be unable to quote with Citizens until the issue is resolved.
Agent of Record field (Submit to Carriers page)
You will see the selected Agent of Record on the Submit to Carriers page when submitting a quote to Citizens.
You will be able to navigate back to the Rating page via a link provided in the info icon message if you need to change the Agent of Record.

Applicant Switch workflow (Quote Results page)
You will see a popup message in the absence of a selected Agent of Record when using the ‘Switch applicant with co-applicant’ function. You will be provided a link in the popup message to redirect you to the Rating page.
Once you have selected the Agent of Record on the Rating page, you will be able to use the ‘Switch applicant with co-applicant’ function on the Quote Results page.
