These updates are designed to reduce manual review time and give you faster access to applicant history—all without leaving Gmail! 


The integration of EVA AI brings intelligent communication summaries directly into your inbox. Whether you’re a heavy Gmail user or just getting started, these updates help you work smarter, not harder

Accessing the Feature


You must have our EZLynx for Gmail Add-On installed before you can access EVA in the Gmail Add-on. To install the EZLynx for Gmail Add-On, check out our EZLynx for Gmail article.


1. Once you have the EZLynx for Gmail Add-On, open an email, and select “EZLynx for Gmail" from the Add-On menu on the right side. This will open the EZLynx for Gmail panel.

  • If this is your first time using the feature, you might also need to log in using your EZLynx account credentials.

2. The app will automatically search to match the current sender’s email with the applicant’s email listed in their EZLynx account. 

  • If there is no applicant account matching the sender’s email, then you can search for the applicant to access the right account.

3. Select the Customer Name button to load the customer account to find the new EVA features. 



Automatic Email Summarization


After you load a customer account, you’ll see a summary of the current email thread auto generated within the Note section. You’ll be able to Re-Summarize email for that specific email thread by selecting the "Re-summarize email" option if needed.


You can also rate the summary with the thumbs-up/thumbs-down options. If you rate it with a thumbs-down, you'll have the option to provide additional feedback to help EZLynx improve AI results. 



“Catch Me Up” Summaries


The “Catch Me Up” option will automatically run a summary of the Applicant’s activity for the last 3 months, plus the current email thread you’ve selected. This means that this gives you full context of the customer’s account history, including the current email thread. 


You can also select a different timeframe for the customer’s account from a 3-month summary to a 1-week, 1-month, and 12-month summary. That way you can refine how much context from the account history to include in your summary.  


You’ll also be able to rate the summaries within the Catch Mu Up section using the same thumbs-up/thumbs-down options.
