We’re excited to announce that with this release, BETA users can now receive Line Of Business (LOB) and coverage recommendations directly within the new Commercial Lines Application Submission workflow using EVA AI.

This feature helps you quickly identify the right LOBs and coverage(s) to select based off the NAICS code, reducing guesswork, ensuring the right insurance solution is crafted for your customer and increasing agent confidence in going after more commercial customers.

By surfacing smart suggestions at the Submission Details step, and within the Applications step, you get built-in guidance tailored to their applicant’s industry. Whether you're new to commercial or looking to expand your book, this tool makes it easier to do business, faster!

Accessing the Feature

Within a Commercial Lines (CL) Application Submission, you can select one of the following buttons on the top right corner of the page which will open the EVA (EZLynx Virtual Assistant) Pane on the right side that will provide more context:

  • Suggest LOBs: Available within Submission Details/Carrier Selection/Carrier Submissions Steps

  • Suggest Coverages: Available within the Application tab and subtabs

There is a disclaimer at the top you can dismiss reminding you that these suggestions are guidance only and you as an agent must ensure the final coverage to fit each client’s unique needs. This disclaimer will appear each time you open the EVA Pane as a gentle reminder.

Suggest LOBs

You will see a broad collapsed list of all LOB and coverage suggestions for that specific NAICS code. You can click the arrow to expand to see more information regarding why that particular LOB and coverage(s) were recommended.

Suggest Coverages

You will see a filtered down collapsed list of any selected suggested LOBS from the “Suggest LOB” section. This way you can focus on the LOBs and coverages relevant to the application. This means any LOBs that were not recommended will be filtered out. Also, when you navigate to a specific LOB page, all the text will expand to show you relevant info for that LOB and any coverage(s) recommended.

Expand the suggested LOBs to see the recommended coverages for that LOB. Please note, there are occasions for certain LOBs where there aren’t any coverage suggestions currently.

Additional Scenarios

If you have a scenario where you create a Commercial Applicant without a NAICS code, you will see a message on the EVA panel reminding you to provide one so you can get LOBs/Coverage suggestions, as well as on the Submissions Detail page itself as this is crucial before beginning the submissions process.

Additionally, if you do not add a suggested LOB to a submission, EVA will not provide any additional coverage recommendation(s) on the Suggest LOB screens within the application.
