In order to obtain a successful quote within EZLynx the credentials entered on the Carrier Logins page must match the credentials on the carrier site.


How to fix carrier login errors
  • STEP 1 - Confirm your credentials with Carrier:
    • Go directly to the carrier website. If you're already logged in, log out.
    • Manually type the password. Do not use the browsers password pre-fill.
    • If you were able to successfully log into the carriers site manually SKIP TO STEP 2
    • If the login does not work at the carrier site, it will not work in EZLynx.
    • Use the carrier site's "Forgot Password" or call their IT Support to get a working login.
  • STEP 2 - Confirm your credentials with EZLynx:
    • Go back to EZLynx
    • Hover over the Settings icon
    • Select Carrier Quoting Setup
    • Select Carrier Logins
    • To the right of the carrier, click Clear Login
    • Click Set Login and manually enter new username and password

For Chrome Users:


If you use Google Chrome, the Chrome Saved Password Settings could be interfering with your saved carrier logins. 


Here is the resolution: 


1. Click on the Three Dots in the top right hand side of your URL bar. 

2. Click Settings.

3. In the blue search bar, type "Manage Passwords", and then click on Manage Passwords. 

4. In the small white search bar on the right side, type "EZLynx". Once the list populates under the Saved Passwords section, remove any saved passwords associated to your carriers by clicking the Three Dots and then clicking Remove. 



STEP 2 - Confirm your credentials with EZLynx:

  • Go back to EZLynx
  • Hover over the Settings icon
  • Select Carrier Quoting Setup
  • Select Carrier Logins
  • To the right of the carrier, click Clear Login
  • Click Set Login and manually enter new username and password

State specific login's: The "Rating State: Default" covers all rating states. If states are already set in addition to the Default setting, you should remove all of the state settings. To remove, click Clear Login for each state setting.
Very few agencies actually have different logins for different rating states. If you do, please contact support@ezlynx.com for assistance.
Once the carrier login is set successfully, indicated by a green check-mark, you should be able to receive quotes from the carrier.


EZTip about Carrier Logins:

When logging into a carrier site, you may receive a message stating your password will expire in "x" number of days.  If this happens, you must update the password NOW, then set the new password in EZLynx. Otherwise, your quotes for this carrier will fail. When EZLynx logs onto the carrier site on your behalf to get a quote, this message will act as a wall that the system cannot pass in order to get a quote.
