EZLynx makes policy processing easier!

If you have our Tier 3 Management System you will be granted the new Edit Download feature. This new feature will allow you to access policy entry screens to add supplemental information on download policies sent from the carrier. The system will automatically sync the information you input with subsequent downloaded transactions. The system also has a new versioning aspect. It will maintain each version of the edited policy as a history providing you the ability to restore a past version at any point in time.

This feature is available for the following lines of business:

NOTE! - You cannot change the information downloaded by the carrier! If the information provided by the carrier is incorrect, please reach out to your carrier to fix the information and request they send a new download.

Editing a Download Policy

1. On the customer's account, on either the Overview or Policies tab, click the white space on the policy card.

2. Then, click the History tab and on the transaction you would like to edit, click Actions > Edit.

3. Here you will see a note at the top that you are editing a downloaded policy and just like a manual policy you will see the Save & Continue Edit button. Click Save & Continue Edit button. When you do, a pop-up will appear.

4. This pop-up is to confirm you want to edit the download and that you understand the changes made in EZLynx will not automatically reflect on the carrier's end. You will still need to go to the carrier's website and input a change request there. When you are ready, click the Edit Download button. This will take you into the policy entry screens so you can add the supplemental information.

5. Once in the policy entry screens, you'll notice the fields that contain the downloaded data from the carrier will be inactive and the values cannot be changed. However, you can input the supplemental information for vehicles, drivers, coverages, additional interests, and more! Simply work through the tabs left to right just like you would a manual policy. When you are done, click the Save & Close button.
