In this Applied Pay release, agencies and brokerages will can now access a URL for each merchant account, that will be custom of branding of their choosing to place on their website, email signature, text message, invoice, and more! This will allow your client and prospects to pay any time, from anywhere. 


Allowing insureds and prospects to make a payment any time from your website will allow for quicker policy binding and increased client satisfaction. This update allows your agency additional flexibility in accepting payments. 


Also, for enhanced security, Applied Pay has also added a behind-the-scenes CAPTCHA tool to the Applied Pay payment pages which monitors all payment transactions for potential fraud and rejects any transactions identified as suspicious.

Where can I find this URL? 


To find the URL, you must have access to Applied Pay. Check out our Applied Pay - Registration & Training article to learn how to setup Applied Pay and how to use it in EZLynx!


Once you have access to Applied Pay, log into your EZLynx account and hover over the Connect Marketplace icon. Then, click on My Integrations




Then, click on the Actions button and click View to navigate to the Applied Pay integration page.



Once there, click on the Go to Applied Pay button. 



From inside the Applied Pay Portal, click on the Agency Settings option. At the top you will find the URL that can be added to your agency website! Also, make sure to setup your Company Name, Agency Contact Information, Logo, and Theme colors which can be found underneath the URL under the Settings section before sending out the URL to any insureds.

How does the URL work?


Once you have the link on your agency's website, any customer that clicks on the link will be taken to a one-time payment page in Applied Pay. The insured would input the required information (anything with a red asterisk) and then click the Next Button.



Attention! - Please note, the Policy Number and Invoice Number fields are NOT required to make a one-time payment.



Then, they will input the payment method and click the Pay button.



Attention! - This workflow will not create an Activity in EZLynx. This means you will need to document the payment manually on the customer's account. To find the payment transactions, check out the Transactions tab in the Applied Pay Portal. We highly recommend using the Client Center Payment Request Workflow if you would like Activity notes to automatically be created when a customer makes a payment.

What do I do if I get an "undefined URL" message?


  • If an undefined URL message displays in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge when you click the custom Hosted Payment Page link, press CTRL + F5 to refresh the page.
