With this release, we are thrilled to announce a few great new features to our redesigned Sales Center based on your feedback, as well as updates to the Prospecting List!  


  • Sales Center now optimizes your workflow by automatically moving opportunities from the X-Date status to the New status prior to the X-Date. Also, the ability to bulk assign producers to a new opportunity is now available on the table view!


  • Prospecting List now includes Line of Business, Prior Carrier, and X-Date as editable fields that can also be imported and prefilled when creating opportunities.

How it works


Let's take a look at the new update to both the Sales Center Opportunities page and the Sales Center Prospecting page!



Automatic moving of X-Date status to New

We’ve made a change to the X-Date workflow where any opportunity updated to the “X-Date” status will be automatically moved to the “New” status 45 days prior to the X-Date for Personal Lines opportunities, and 60 days prior for Commercial Lines to allow adequate time for requoting.  


We’ve also updated the functionality to where if you have an existing opportunity x-date, the system will prefill into the pop-up box and will add a year if it’s under 45 days for personal and under 60 days for commercial as well. 




Bulk Assign Producer via Table View

With this update, we’ve added the ability to bulk reassign producers to new opportunities on the table view. First, you’ll want to select at least one or more opportunities on table view, then you’ll see the option appear to assign producer. A few things to note; only admins will be able to reassign producers. Also, you won't be able to assign a producer to a customer if they do not have access to the account.





Bulk Add Note Update

Now when you add a note to multiple opportunities using the table view, you will see the name of the Applicant within the “Adding Note to # Opportunities” link on Workspace so you’ll know which applicants will have notes added. 




New Fields for Prospecting

We’ve added Line of Business, X-Date, and Prior Carrier fields to the Prospecting List for both Personal and Commercial prospects. We've also added red asterisks to all required fields on prospects.



Additionally, when you use the “Create Opportunity” function, you’ll see these fields carry over if you’ve filled them out when you select the “Add LOB to all opportunities” option. 



 

Lastly, we have updated the Import Prospect List CSV template and field mappings so you can import this data to a new Prospect List. We’ve also provided a link to the list of your Lines of Businesses and Carriers.


 


Why is this important?


  • Less Manual Work: The new feature of automatically moving opportunities from x-date status to 'New' means less manual tracking regarding future follow-up. 


  • More Flexibility: The added ability for bulk reassignment of producers enables quick and efficient changes of opportunities to a new producer directly within the table view. 


  • Optimizing Imports: Updates to the Prospecting List now include additional data fields, that optimize the import of large leads lists by capturing important prior policy data.
