Integrated & Suggested Automation Phase 2

With this release, we are excited to introduce Phase 2 of our Integrated and Suggested Automation enhancement to our Automation Center, designed to boost efficiency and streamline operations!
In the last release, we piloted the ‘Suggested Automation‘ feature by embedding a few direct access points in the EZLynx system. Given the success of the feature and positive response, we have expanded the same to more areas in EZLynx. This enhancement enables users to create/suggest workflows more efficiently and quickly, making automation more seamless than ever.
At EZLynx, we are dedicated to optimizing the functionality of our Automation Center. Our goal is to empower agents by automating routine tasks, allowing them to focus on activities that generate revenue and drive business growth. Let's take a look at the new key touchpoints in the system!

Automation Suggestion - Birthday Campaign
As soon as you add a birthday campaign, a workflow recommendation will appear with an option to set up automation. Please note, if your agency already has birthday workflows enabled in the Automation Center, you will not see the recommendation upon birthday campaign creation.
- If you do not wish to leverage this recommendation immediately, you can choose to Snooze for 60 days. By selecting this option, the recommendation will be hidden for the next 60 days.
- If you do wish to leverage this recommendation immediately, you can choose Set Up Automation. This will redirect you to the Automation Center, where you will see the recommended workflow template.
The Send Customer Birthday Wishes is the recommended template and can be used to create workflows. Feel free to make the necessary changes to the workflow template so they suit your agency’s standard operating procedures.
Automation Suggestion - Quotes Result Page
When you receive successful Personal Lines (Auto, Home, & Dwelling Fire) comparative rater quotes from within EZLynx, a workflow recommendation pop up will appear with an option to set up automation. Please note, if your agency already has quotes workflows enabled in the Automation Center, you will not see the recommendation upon successful quotes obtained.
- If you do not wish to leverage this recommendation immediately, you can choose to Snooze for 60 days. By selecting this option, the recommendation will be hidden for the next 60 days.
- If you do wish to leverage this recommendation immediately, you can choose Set Up Automation. This will redirect you to the Automation Center, where you will see the recommended workflow template.
The Share Quote Results with the Applicants is the recommended template and can be used to create workflows. Feel free to make the necessary changes to the workflow template so they suit your agency’s standard operating procedures.
Setup Automation Button - Create Submission
While on the Submissions tab for a commercial customer, you will see the Set Up Automation button. When you select this button, you will be redirected to the Automation Center, where you will see the recommended workflow template.
The Add Commercial Submission for your customers is the recommended template and can be used to create workflows. Feel free to make the necessary changes to the workflow template so they suit your agency’s standard operating procedures.
Setup Automation Button - Retention Center
On the Retention Center Overview page, you will see the Set up Automation button. When you select the button, you will be redirected to Automation Center where the ‘Customer Retention’ tag will be preselected. This will display all the recommended templates and triggers suggested to help retain your customers.
The Inform Customers about their policies due for renewal and Take action on policies expiring soon are the recommended templates and can be used to create workflows. Feel free to make the necessary changes to the workflow template so they suit your agency’s standard operating procedures.
Create/Suggest Workflow Enhancements
- Add Product Filter - We've added a Product filter to the Workflows page. This filter let's you narrow down workflows by the product you wish to see like Sales or Retention Center.
- Toggle to be set to "Enabled" – If you are an Automation Center Admin User, the Disabled/Enabled toggle will now be set to Enabled by default. So now, you don’t have to turn this toggle on to enable your workflows but can always turn to off if you want to.
- Sales Center Triggers - We have made an improvement to the Sales Center triggers to recognize status changes. When an opportunity moves from one status to another, actions from the Automation Workflow for the previous status will stop. Actions for the new status will then start executing, if applicable. If you are creating a Workflow using Sales Center triggers, you will see a message on the Finish Setup step explaining this effect.
Why is this important
- Improved Accessibility - No matter where you are in the EZLynx platform, the option to set up automation is always available. This allows users to create workflows within the relevant context, without the need to navigate away and lose focus. So, for example if you are in Retention Center and utilize Setup Automation button to navigate to Automation Center, the templates and triggers you will see are relevant to policy renewal. You can leverage these to automate renewal process for your agency.
- Increased utilization to create Workflows with your agency – As creating automated workflows becomes as easy as a few clicks, you can expand the use of workflows by engaging more people in your agency. The end-to-end process, including approvals, is integrated, allowing you to send workflows to the admin for approval. Once the admin approves the request, your team can start reaping the benefits of these workflows in their daily activities. This will lead to higher efficiency and time savings, allowing your employees to focus on activities that are more beneficial to your business.
