With this release, we've got two Management System enhancements to help improve your usage of the system. Let's take a look at what changed!

• Package Merge is removing two restrictions to allow for easier renewal BOP merging. 
• Personal Auto Coverage has a new field - Other Coverage to allow for additional coverage at the vehicle level.

Package Merge Enhancements

In previous updates, we introduced the Create Package feature to resolve an issue with the legacy EZLynx system. The problem was that packages were being split into individual policies during the download process. We solved this problem by creating a feature that combines these policies into a package. Now, in this latest update, we are enhancing the Create Package feature by removing certain restrictions: 

• Removed "Date" matching: This means you can create packages that have different terms.
• Removed “Source” matching: This means you can create packages with manual and downloaded policies.

The workflow for this feature has not changed. The removal of these restrictions simply makes it easier to utilize the feature. Check out our Create Package from Separated Lines training article to learn more about the feature!

Personal Auto Coverage

We have added a new field called "Other Coverage" in the Personal Auto line coverages. This allows you to add additional coverage at the vehicle level for more customization. 

Here's how it works: 

1. Access a Personal Auto policy and navigate to the Vehicle section. 

2. Add a new vehicle or edit an existing one. 

3. You will now see a new area for other coverages within the Add/Edit Vehicle window. Please note, you can only add one Coverage Code per vehicle.
