We’re excited to announce some great updates to our policy management system in EZLynx! 

• Added transaction type ‘Cancel Rewrite’ 
• Agency Form Template support for personal auto and home policies coverages 

The new transaction type, "Cancel Rewrite," will help provide you better visibility into policies that were canceled and reissued with another company. We've also updated custom agency form templates to include support of policy coverages and risk detail fields for personal auto and home policies that make prefilling effortless.

Added transaction type ‘Cancel Rewrite’

You can now affix a more applicable transaction type to policies that have been Cancelled and Rewritten with another Carrier accurately, making it easier to track these transactions in Reports and Commissions. When canceling a policy, there’s now a new ‘Cancel Type’ field that lets you clearly specify the type of cancellation.  

1. Select the Actions icon on a policy. This will open the Actions menu.

2. Hover over Service. This will open the Service menu.

3. Choose Cancel. This will open the Cancel Policy page.

4. Select the Cancel Type dropdown and choose Cancel Rewrite.

This is the recommended workflow when using this new feature.

You can also access this new 'Cancel Type' when adding a brand new manual policy as well as from the History Transaction tab on a Cancellation Transaction type.

Form Templates Update for Personal Auto and Home 

With these updates, creating customized Agency Forms for Auto and Home policies is easier and more efficient than ever. The automatic population of policy details and the ability to manage form templates seamlessly will save you time and improve your workflow. As an Agency Admin, when managing form templates, you will have new options to add or edit field mappings to take advantage to this new accessibility to data.
