On the Details tab of a customer's account,

  • EZLynx uses USPS validation for addresses, so currently addresses outside of the U.S. cannot be entered here.
  • The Validate button MUST BE CLICKED. Applications can still be submitted for addresses that don’t successfully validate.
  • Click Save & Go To Auto/Home/Dwelling Fire.


EZTip: If Save & Go To Auto/Home/Dwelling Fire is grayed out, then check the Date of Birth (DOB) for both applicant and co-applicant.

EZTip: A yellow box may appear above the Primary Insured if the information has been changed on the Details tab.


Vehicles tab
  • Due to VIN format standards, vehicles manufactured prior to 1981 are not supported for EZLynx Rating.
  • Enter up to 6 vehicles (cars, SUVs, and trucks only) for submission. However, most carriers will not return a successful quote for more than 4 vehicles. For these, we recommend submitting 4 vehicles, then updating the applications on the carrier sites for the remaining vehicles.

  • Select Using VIN is available for users with VIN numbers. Or, manually select the Year, Make, & Model.


Vehicle Assignments tab


- Driver/vehicle assignments are required for every auto quote in EZLynx. Carriers want to know what percentage of the time each driver drives each vehicle.  

- On the Assignments tab in the EZLynx Rating application, vehicles are listed across the top of the page, and drivers are listed down the left side of the page.  The assignments must total 100% under each vehicle, and there always must be a primary driver.  If you have two drivers, please enter at least 51/49 instead of 50/50, so that one driver is primary.



Filling out a Home Quote


Home Lookup


EZLynx has integrated with CoreLogic® to bring you residential pre-fill and reconstruction cost valuation in the EZLynx Rating Engine through the RCT® Express estimating platform from CoreLogic. Residential pre-fill will drastically improve your home quote process by allowing you to use MSB lookup within EZLynx to automatically pull information about a home prospect. This will help streamline an agent’s homeowner policy quote process and improve the consumer experience by allowing agents to simply validate the property characteristics instead of attempting to fill in data fields themselves with homeowner-supplied information. You can further improve your process with the MSB reconstruction cost valuation tool to predict the cost of replacing the entire home.


Quote Results - Assumed Score


From the quote results page, you can review quote information like whether credit was ordered, the discounts that were applied, and see payment options and underwriting messages from the carrier. You can also, re-submit or delete the quote, send it to the applicant, and more.

EZLynx now highlights the carriers who use an assumed score in our rating platform. There are no changes to the quoting process. Users will simply see a new tab called Results with Assumed Score on the quote results page.


In the Primary Results section, our system will display the quote results from carriers who use a true credit score. Switch from the Primary Results to the Results with Assumed Score tabs to see quote results from carriers who don’t use a true credit score.

Quote Results - Payment Options

Carriers return various payment options with their EZLynx quotes. The EZLynx Quote results page includes a Payment Option dropdown menu that includes the following options:

  • Full Pay
  • EFT Premium 
  • Monthly Premium

Each Payment Option has several sort options, for example Low-High (Disregard Term)We recommend setting the default Payment Option as Full Pay Premium.


To use the payment and sort options:

  • At the quote results page, use the dropdown boxes at the upper right to set a payment option and sort filter.
  • IMPORTANT:  Some carriers do not send EFT and monthly premium details, so when these payment options are selected, those carriers are displayed at the bottom of the sort.  Only carriers who transfer EFT and month premium information will be included in those payment sorts.  Therefore, more competitive carriers MAY be at the bottom of the sort.
