Insurance Carrier Name Printed on ACORD Forms


Every Master carrier should have assigned Writing Companies. When a Carrier Name is to be listed on a form, the Writing Company along with the assigned NACI code number will print onto all line of business ACORD Forms, Auto ID Cards, Certificates, Binders, and Evidence of Insurance documents.

Can I scan directly into EZLynx?


Agents cannot scan directly into EZLynx. What we recommend is to save the file to your computer first. Then you can upload the document to a Customers Account. See our Documents - Upload, Edit, Move, Share, Delete, Email, & More! article to learn how!

How do you generate an Auto ID Card with a bar code? (New York) 


New York requires all drivers to carry bar-coded insurance ID Cards. You can download the ID Card Generator software from the State's Department of Financial Services website by registering with their NYSDFS Agent or Broker License.

Once the ID Card Generator software is installed, you can generate an ID Card in EZLynx with a bar-code.


1. On a Customer's Overview tab, locate the Auto Policy.

2. Click the Forms icon. 

3. Select NY ID Card XML.

4. Save the file that downloaded to your computer.

5. Open the ID Card Generator software and import the XML file from your computer that you downloaded from EZLynx. The ID Card pre-fills with the required information. 

6. Save the ID Card to your computer desktop.

7. In EZLynx, go to the Customers' Documents tab.

8. Click the Add button and select Upload. 

9. Drag and drop the ID Card you go from the ID Card Generator software into EZLynx. 

10. If you have Client Center, check the Share box so that your customer can access the ID card from Client Center.

Do emails count toward the storage limit?


Yes, if you use any of our EZLynx email add-ins, the emails that you save to your customer files count toward the storage limit.
