With this exciting new feature, we bring our Massachusetts agents the ability to create new or upload the existing Carrier E-Stamp, which they must send to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) for approval. Once approved, you can use it on the Registration and Title Application (RTA) Forms.

How to Create/Upload the MA E-Stamp


Agents who have the auto license with the state of MA, can see the MA E-Stamp page under the Carrier Quoting Setup screen. To access it, hover over the Settings icon, and then click Carier Quoting Setup.



Find the carrier in question and click View Details.




From the Carrier's Details page, click the MA E-Stamp tab. The 'Agency Name' field is prefilled with the organization name by default. The 'Agent Name' field is prefilled with your username by default. 

Also, there is an option to type or upload your signature.


Agent must preview the stamp before submitting for the approval. A message will be displayed if you try to submit before viewing the preview.



Attention! - At least one of the Agency Name, Producer Code, or Location fields must be filled in order to submit an E-Stamp for approval.



If you happen to have the E-Stamp readily available and can skip manual entry and upload the E-Stamp using the Upload E-Stamp option.



Submitting for Approval


Whether you Create or Upload the E-Stamp, when you are ready for approval click the Submit For Approval button. When you do, a Support Ticket is created with the required information which needs to be sent to MA RMV for approval.



The page should refresh and you should now see a Request Submitted chip letting you know that the request was submitted.



While you are waiting for the approval, you can come back to the MA E-Stamp page to check on the status. Now what if you made a mistake and want to submit a new request, or maybe your original request got rejected? You can submit a new request to replace the earlier requests by using the Deprecate and Create New button. If your request got rejected, you can click the Re-Submit button to submit a fresh request.




Attention! - You can only see the Deprecate and Create New button if the status of the request is Approved.

Add E-Stamp to MA RMV Form


You can use the 'Approved E-Stamp on MA RMV Form. To do this we first need to add an RMV Form to an Auto Application. You can do this either by:

  • Clicking the Actions button on the Customer's Overview page, then hovering on Additional Actions, then clicking Add Form.



  • Clicking the Add button on the Customer's Documents page, then clicking Form.



A new tab has been added labeled "RMV Forms" lists the available RMV forms. This page is visible only for the rating state of MA and only if an auto application is present in the system for the applicant. From here, choose the desired form by checking the box and then clicking Preview.



As usual, you can enter data into the fields which are not pre-filled or edit the pre-filled values. Once everything is completed, you can add the E-Stamp by clicking the Actions button and then clicking the 'Add E-Stamp' option.



Next you'll select the 'Writing Company' they want to be added on the form and click 'Set E-Stamp'.


The E-Stamp will be added under section 'K' of the form. Based on the E-Stamp selected by the agent, 'K1' and 'K2' fields will be populated.
